Award news

Karl's image title Gerroa has won a DIPA Silver medal - 6th Danube Digital Circuit 2021.

Story:

Captured from a helicopter with the doors off at 2000ft above the Crooked River inlet to Seven Mile beach Gerroa.

The 70km p/hr winds created fantastic details in the water. The tannin stained inlet is what drew my attention. This had been blocked by a sandbar, slowing the water ingress from the ocean. Which had recently broken free allowing tannin stained water to leach into the colours of the ocean, as it began to refresh the river. This made for an exquisite display of colours.

This award also landed Karl an article in The Bugle Kiama 18th August 2021.

Award Winning

Karl has been awarded a number of prestigious awards in both Australia and International competitions.
